A dial tone can be heard, a number was dialed and got a busy signal. The rest is a black lucite plastic base. The backside, there are two feet. The front is a strip of black plastic. The sides and bottom part on front are black. The front top is a smoky plastic. There is a front handle sticks out a little bit. You roll it back or roll it back and it acts like a roll top desk. There is a brushed silver metal sheet over the plastic like a covering and a clear plastic rotary dial. Unsure of how long the cord is. It slides back in and lies back down when finished. One on rotary dial face and a larger drip from platform to black plastic front. The cord is soiled from pulling in and out. The brushed metal platform is dirty and minor scratches. The rolltop case can close unevenly. The right side on back may lift doing so. Sometimes you may need to pull it up from backside down to close it properly; you just have to play with it. Dirty on smoky case lid and the smoky sides. Some scratches under plastic on the sides from rubbing dirt and some exterior scratches on the back of the rolltop. The rolltop backside has a small crack in the lucite on left side near the molding side. Sometimes its embedded between the black and smoky color so it doesnt stand out as much as it could. The left side, there are gouges between the plastic layers and scratches. Basically, the rolltop just needs adjusting. The connection cord is undamaged and will go in a landline jack attached to a wall unit. Try finding another one of these. Measures 11.25″ X 5 3/8″ X 4.75.
