Sizes = Height 101cm Width 90cm Depth 44cm. Here we have a handsome looking writing bureau. Cylinder top opens to reveal an pull out writing surface and a selection of stationary drawers. Below there are 3 drawers to give a good amount of storage. These are lockable with key. Condition = Strong and sturdy. Minor blemishes here and there but nothing serious. Very faint water mark to the top (see pic). Please look through all of the photographs and ask if you have any questions. Below there is a single drawer which is lockable with key. Condition = Strong and sturdy. Minor blemishes here and there but nothing serious. Fab Vintage Retro Marmet Child’s Children’s Roll Top Wooden Desk Bureau & Chair

Please note that I have another of these, identical, if wanted. It’s currently in storage, hence it not being photographed at the same time. Here we have a lovely vintage child’s roll top desk and matching chair. I think this set is made from beech, though the chair is possibly pine- not sure though, as it isn’t knotty. A lovely blond tone, whichever. The desk has been mostly painted in satin black, leaving the fab roll top, inside and some of the underneath in the original wood. The desk has its original creamy white celluloid or bakelite handles on the lid, red writing mat- think its made from vinyl? Plus the original red vinyl seat pad on the chair, though this is removable if preferred. The chair has had the two back rungs painted to match the desk, just to make the two piece cohesive. This awesomely stylish little desk set is in very good vintage condition, with some minor marks and knocks commensurate with age and use. Knee hole height 49.5cm. Seat itself 30cm x 30cm. Any questions, please ask. Happy to provide more photos if required. Collection from Stroud, Gloucestershire is preferred, but can also work with your own couriers or arrange one for you. Antique continental roll top writing desk / cylinder bureau with drawers

Sizes = Height 224cm Width 119cm Depth 58cm. Splits into 3 sections for moving. Here is a continental writing bureau. Cylinder roll top opens to reveal a writing surface with lots of small drawers for storage. Further larger drawers below. A very impressive statement piece. Condition = Overall quite rustic. There are some veneer chips and minor marks. Some worm holes here and there, mainly in the backboards and underside. Internal door has been removed and a small strip of veneer is missing here. With any worm holes, historic or recent, we spray treatment on arrival and before dispatch. You can of course add your own treatments should you wish. No key to operate the locks.
